Privacy Policy for NordHomes and www.nordhomes.no<\/b><\/p>

This privacy policy describes the types of personal data NordHomes collects and how this personal data is processed.<\/span><\/p>

NordHomes complies with the Norwegian Personal Data Act. This privacy policy is created in accordance with the requirements of the Personal Data Act \u00a7\u00a7 18 and 19.<\/span><\/p>

What is personal data<\/b><\/p>

Personal data is information about an individual. This can be the person's name, address, place of work, marital status, telephone number, e-mail address, etc. Information about your contact, reason for contact, and form of contact with NordHomes can also be understood as personal data.<\/span><\/p>

Sensitive personal data is neither collected nor used by NordHomes. This includes personal data such as indictments, criminal offenses, health, and the like.<\/span><\/p>

Who is the data controller for your personal data at NordHomes<\/b><\/p>

NordHomes's own Office Manager is responsible for the company's processing of personal data. In the event of any future delegation, only the tasks are delegated; the responsibility for personal data always rests with NordHomes.<\/span><\/p>

Personal data NordHomes receives<\/b><\/p>

NordHomes has 2 sources of personal data, both based on \u00a7 8 of the Personal Data Act.<\/span><\/p>

The main source of personal data is information you provide yourself. This occurs primarily through the contact form on NordHomes' website. The contact form serves as a meeting place between potential\/existing customers and NordHomes. It is entirely voluntary whether you wish to fill out such a form or simply remain a passive visitor on the site. Personal data collected via the contact form includes telephone, email, and name.<\/span><\/p>

Following the contact form, further personal information may be generated through e-mail, telephone, and similar correspondence between NordHomes and you as a potential\/existing customer.<\/span><\/p>

Another source of personal data is information NordHomes collects itself. The collection takes place through Google Analytics. It captures how long you are on the site, the IP address, which links you click, and the number of users on the site at different times, to name a few.<\/span><\/p>

How NordHomes uses personal data<\/b><\/p>

The purpose of the contact form and subsequent correspondence is to follow up on inquiries and obligations toward customers. NordHomes is dependent on such an open platform between itself and its customers to ensure satisfactory communication and an optimal end product.<\/span><\/p>

The purpose of the information from Google Analytics is to improve the website experience. This may involve, for example, making layouts more user-friendly, understanding user trends, streamlining and delivering services as expected more effectively, and preventing criminal behavior such as hacking.<\/span><\/p>

The legal basis for NordHomes' processing of personal data is the Personal Data Act \u00a7 11.<\/span><\/p>

How to manage your own personal data<\/b><\/p>

The limited amount of personal data NordHomes collects via you and on its own initiative is very marginal compared to other actors and other web services. This has meant that any self-management of personal data, such as settings in used apps and settings in personalized advertising, is not relevant at our company. As mentioned, the personal data collected is not used for such purposes.<\/span><\/p>

You nevertheless always have rights related to the personal data, which you can read more about below.<\/span><\/p>

Information sharing with third parties<\/b><\/p>

NordHomes does not share any personal information from the contact form, own collections, or information from others with any third party. Should such sharing nevertheless occur, you will always receive a request for consent from us.<\/span><\/p>

Secure archiving, deletion, and internal control<\/b><\/p>

In accordance with the Personal Data Act \u00a7 13, all personal data NordHomes receives will be archived on either a secure e-mail or server for as long as the working relationship between you and NordHomes continues. Upon termination of the working relationship, all communication and personal data will be deleted within 2 years.<\/span><\/p>

NordHomes has an internal control to ensure that such archiving, security, and deletion take place according to goals and in accordance with legal standards.<\/span><\/p>

Rights<\/b><\/p>

According to the Personal Data Act, as a user or customer of NordHomes, you have the right to be forgotten, the right to data portability, the right of access, and the right against being profiled.<\/span><\/p>

The right to be forgotten means that all personal data registered with NordHomes can be requested for deletion. If this is not requested, NordHomes will anyway delete most personal data 2 years after the end of contact.<\/span><\/p>

The right to data portability implies that you can receive a digital copy of all personal data NordHomes has about you. This right also means that you can take this personal data to another business if it is technically possible and justifiable. Personal data covered by data portability is personal data provided to NordHomes, such as through the contact form, or automated personal data generated through use of NordHomes' services.<\/span><\/p>

The right of access implies that you have the right to see what information NordHomes has registered about you.<\/span><\/p>

The right against profiling gives the right to refuse NordHomes to map your use and behavior, and thus tailor our services to you based on this mapping. Typical examples would be personalized advertising, service development, market research, etc. This is, however, not very relevant to NordHomes when NordHomes to a small extent has interest or use for such breadth and depth mapping.<\/span><\/p>

To exercise one or more of these rights, please contact us. You have a statutory right to receive a response from us within at least 1 month.<\/span><\/p>

Children's privacy<\/b><\/p>

NordHomes has neither the desire nor the need to collect or process personal data about children under the age of 16. Such personal data must come through a guardian.<\/span><\/p>

Personal information left by children to NordHomes will be deleted as soon as it comes to NordHomes' knowledge.<\/span><\/p>

Data Protection Officer<\/b><\/p>

NordHomes does not have a Data Protection Officer since the company is not a public enterprise, does not process sensitive information, does not commit systematic mapping of persons, and does not process personal data about criminal offenses.<\/span><\/p>

Implementation of changes<\/b><\/p>

NordHomes will from time to time update its privacy policy to ensure that it maintains the legal standard required by Norwegian law. You will be informed of such updates.<\/span><\/p>
